George Soros is Spending Millions to Buy Local Political Races

Unlike most megadonors, billionaire George Soros has a very unique approach to influencing US politics through his wealth. While most megadonors focus their efforts on influencing major elections such as Congressional and Presidential elections, Soros focuses on buying small, local elections instead – and the results are dangerously effective.

A couple million dollars is a drop in the bucket for a Presidential campaign. For a local campaign such as a campaign for mayor or district attorney, though, that much money is a game-changer. George Soros has realized that he can’t buy major elections, but he can buy local elections with relative ease. Having learned this lesson, Soros is using his money to shape US politics across the country one local election at a time, helping elect far-left politicians who are – above all else – weak on crime.

Electing politicians who are weak on crime seems to be Soros’ number one objective. Unfortunately, we have seen his efforts work out time and time again all over the nation, and it doesn’t look like he plans to slow down anytime soon.

To learn more about Soros’ most recent efforts to buy local political races and the damage that these efforts are causing, be sure to check out the video below.
