There’s a New Migrant Caravan Heading to the US

Over the past few years, the country’s struggles with illegal immigration have only grown increasingly worse. It was largely the crisis at the border and Trump’s promise to fix it that put him in office in 2016. Since taking office, though, Trump has found solving the border crisis to be an uphill battle, as Congressional Democrats have blocked and resisted his efforts at every turn.

Meanwhile, more and more migrant caravans have made the journey across Mexico into the United States, overstraining our border security system to the point that it is no longer able to perform its role of securing our borders. Now, there is yet another migrant caravan heading toward the US border.

In recent months, border patrol agents have taken to the media to explain just how much of a challenge it is to deal with these massive caravans of illegal immigrants. Charged with processing and caring for the thousands of migrants who show up at one time, these border patrol agents have been unable to perform other vital aspects of their job such as stopping the flow of drugs, weapons, and human trafficking into the United States.

Unless something is done to stop them, these migrant caravans will continue to be a persistent problem for the United States. One America News has more on the story below.
