Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Isn’t Happy About her Latest Likability Poll

According to a new poll, 44% of Americans living in New York have an unfavorable opinion of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This is compared to just 33% of people living in New York who said that they liked the freshman congresswoman.

Unsurprisingly, Ocasio-Cortez isn’t too pleased with these new poll numbers. In typical leftist fashion, though, it didn’t take her long to reach down into the bag of excuses and come up with one that explains away her poor showing in the polls. According to AOC, her favorability is tanking due to bigotry and the fact that people do not support any politician who is not a white male.

It isn’t the fact that Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal was a total disaster that was criticized by both sides of aisle, nor the fact that everything that comes out of her mouth is a serious blunder that shows just how unsuited for Congress she really is. By Ocasio-Cortez’s reasoning, none of these things matter – it’s her race and her gender that are to blame.

Crying racism and bigotry is a go-to tactic for the left when things don’t go their way. However, any unbiased observer should be able to see that Ocasio-Cortez has only herself to blame for her disappointing poll numbers.
