BuzzFeed has Made Itself a National Embarrassment

When BuzzFeed published a story claiming that President Donald Trump personally instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, the entire world took notice. If true, the story meant that Robert Mueller had evidence that would inevitably lead to President Trump’s impeachment.

As soon as the story broke, Democrats worked themselves into a frenzy and the talks of impeachment reached a new fervor. Conservatives demonstrated concern as well. However, most conservatives kept in mind that it was BuzzFeed – an outlet that has more in common with Cosmopolitan than a serious news organization – that published the story.

Less than twenty-four hours after the story broke, these doubts were proven to be true, as Mueller’s office released a statement claiming that the BuzzFeed article was false. So false, apparently, that setting the record straight became essential in spite of the fact that Mueller’s office has stayed silent about so many other speculations within the media.

Considering this embarrassment, it’s no wonder why Buzzfeed is one of the many left-wing outlets that’s been forced to drop the ax on a huge chunk of its staff. Learn more about what Mark Dice is calling the best day for journalism in a long time in the video below.
