The venerable statesman and political thinker Steven Bannon has not fallen from grace, although he may have fallen from the national spotlight after the fallout with President Trump. No, this is still a man with great ideas and an even greater talent for expressing them. He was able to put the recent Supreme Court nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh into such a great context that conservatives will learn from it for generations to come.
Bannon’s words in this audio clip are important not only for the intelligentsia, but also for practical purposes as well. President Trump may very well have the opportunity to appoint another Supreme Court Justice during his first term. If he gets a second term, that probability goes up exponentially. There are quite a few justices that are on the bench currently who are looking as though they are on their last legs.
Fortunately, all of these justices are known to be liberal.
One aspect of Kavanaugh that is not very well advertised is his relative youth. This is a man who will be on the Supreme Court for decades to come. With the right perspective taken from Bannon’s words, we as conservatives could get another young Justice to stand for us.
