President Donald Trump’s super power is getting his rivals to make his arguments for him — and later regretting making that massive mistake. This is basically what happened with his motion to send illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities run by Democrats.
This isn’t the first time the president trolled the progressives. We remember the first time he did so: he called a press conference in New York City, then he invited a crowd of firefighters, cops, and veterans. When the press showed up, they were swamped by Trump-supporting men and women in uniform. They were tricked into broadcasting live shots of cops, firefighters, and vets praising Trump. And Trump wasn’t even there. He’d showed up to say hi to the folks in uniform, but he bailed before the press arrived. He set a trap for the media.
Well, he’s been doing things like this ever since, but they’re getting rarer as he seems too busy doing White House business. But he’s done it again — and he’s done it Yugely! He’s tricked the Democrat rulers of sanctuary cities come out on their own and admit that they don’t want immigrants in their back yards.
