Sen. Warren’s Challenger Says She is “Out of Touch” With Voters

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has already positioned herself as a favorite to win the Democratic nomination for president in 2020, and she’s certainly the favorite to retain her position as senator in the 2018 midterms. However, in a time where political upsets have become the norm, anything can happen, and Sen. Warren’s Republican opponent believes that there are plenty of reasons why Massachusetts voters should be hesitant to cast their ballots for “Pocahontas.”

In a recent interview with One America News, Geoff Diehl – Warren’s Republican Challenger for Senate – described Warren as being “out of touch” with voters, saying that he was shocked to hear her reaction to the news that an illegal alien had murdered a young woman named Mollie Tibbetts. Rather than discussing the need for keeping criminals such as Tibbetts’ murderer out of the country, Warren quickly deflected to bashing the Trump administration, saying that the real tragedy was Trump separating families at the border. This non-response not only demonstrates a complete lack of empathy for Mollie Tibbetts and others who have died at the hands of illegal immigrants, it also fails to address the fears that many Americans are feeling.

This, of course, is just one of the ways that Warren has grown out of touch with her constituents, and when you look at her economic policies, you’ll see that she is even further separated from the concerns of the people she represents. Geoff Diehl is hopeful that this incompetence will be enough to deliver a shocking upset in Massachusetts come November.
