When President Donald Trump became the first sitting commander-in-chief to share a room with a North Korean leader, the mainstream media painted a picture of surrender.
Of course, media types have been dismaying the United States’ actions against North Korea for generations, despite the provable threat the Kermit Kingdom poses to America and its allies. President Trump wanted to take a different approach — negotiation. Trump isn’t your typical war hawk Republican, and his foreign policy reflects that.
Since the historic meeting, however, the president’s critics have changed their tune on North Korea. Suddenly, Kim Jong Un is a tyrant that cannot be negotiated with for any reason.
As absurd as this sounds, this pales in comparison the to actions of one liberal journalist, who tweeted a fake quote suggesting that President Trump would prefer the North Korean despot to Joe Biden as the leader of the free world.
