Here’s What’s Really Happening On the Border

It does not please us to say that the left relies on lies to promote its agenda. Why does it not please us? Because left and right wing politics develop largely for the same reasons the left and right sides of the brain develop, because it is an economically viable way for information processing systems to manifest.

We need the left because they see inequality where the right can’t. And we need the right, because they perceive the need for stability where the left remains blind to it. In a functioning society, these two natural forces would communicate through the legally protected right to free speech. Working together, debating vigorously, the two sides should come to the purest possible version of the truth and respond to it accordingly.

This, by the way, is the reason free speech is a natural right — because without it, a functioning society cannot self-regulate.

But the fact is, the left is infected by what appears to be a spirit of deception.

They are lying about the Trump administration willfully separating illegal immigrants from their children. They refuse to admit that it is an Obama-era law, that is responsible for these separations.

Not only can they not handle the truth — they have no interest in the truth.
