Despite taking a shellacking in the recent election, which cemented the “far-right” Alternative for Germany as the country’s main opposition party, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is saying she will continue her open-border policies with respect to third-world immigration.
While this idea may seem radical and downright unacceptable to most Americans, the move is largely celebrated by the German left. Socialist politicians in Berlin routinely parade the idea that “German culture” no longer actually exists, and continue to push for a more racially diverse country even at the expense of rising crime rates.
