She made Ted Lieu look like the inveterate jackass that he is in a C-SPAN clip that has had more views than any other in the history of the public broadcaster. In that same clip, she showed the world what a non-paying attention buffoon Rep. Jerry Nadler is.
But moreover, Owens has been popularizing the notion that black Americans have been sold a hard bargain by the Democrats going on about a century ago now. With her unfaltering spine and her easy smile, she had been winning black people away from the Democratic plantation in droves. She’s eclipsed the #WalkAway movement, and has shown like a diamond on Prager’s YouTube channel interviewing big conservative names and ranking celebrities while not batting an eye unmindfully.
She’s stood behind President Trump, who told Black America during his campaign, “What have you got to lose?” Black America has seen unprecedented results as President Trump has done more for them than decades of empty promise-making Democrats. Today, they enjoy record employment numbers, a thriving economy, lower taxes, and hope for even more. And Candace is there to make sure they don’t forget.
