From start to finish, the Mueller testimony was a disaster for the Democratic Party. Robert Mueller, the man who was once held up as an all-powerful savior who would remove Trump from office – seemed more like a confused old man throughout the hearing.
In fact, one media outlet said that the only person who learned anything from the Mueller hearing was Mueller himself, who didn’t seem to know anything about his own investigation.
Now, for the Democratic Party, the writing is on the wall. President Donald Trump will not be impeached before the 2020 election, and his chances of winning again in 2020 are now higher than ever. In their attempts to avoid having to beat Trump in a fair election, the Democratic Party has embarrassed itself time and time again. The Robert Mueller hearing is the latest of these embarrassments, and it’s a big one.
While there were many great moments in the Mueller hearing (if you are a Trump supporter, that is), Rep. Gohmert’s exchange with Mueller is certainly one of the highlights.
