The Left is fighting a war of ideological attrition. It’s not about what’s true or what’s logical, it’s about drowning the airwaves with their singular message and indoctrinating the majority of low information voters.
That’s why they don’t care when their arguments are obviously and verifiably wrong. They know that as long as they maintain a certain phony moralizing tone and persist in calling their opponents awful names, a hell of a lot of people will just accept their claims at face value.
Now, here’s the real problem: it’s the fact that most people believe just watching the news is all you need to do to be well informed. Well, we’re sorry but that’s not the case. You have to look at a range of news sources, cross-reference them and read studies. That’s the bare minimum. But sadly, far too many people are so lazy that they believe doing nothing but watching CNN is enough.
Confidentially, that’s part of the reason we have the Electoral Colleges — because so many people won’t seek out good information.
This is why it’s so important for everyone in the conservative movement to push back, to share good information and to make people understand our values. The fact is, the vast majority of leftists have never been exposed to conservative ideas.
