John Brennan – the director of the CIA under President Obama – has been making rounds in the media recently trashing President Trump, going as far as to accuse the president of treason. Yet at the same time that Brennan continues on his deceit-filled campaign against a Republican president, he continues to declare that neither he nor his actions are politically motivated.
Those who work within organizations such as the CIA and FBI are supposed to be entirely non-partisan. It’s a nice thought, yet as we’ve seen time and time again since Trump’s election, those in the FBI and CIA have the capacity to act in a very partisan manner when things aren’t going their way.
John Brennan is the latest example of this. However, unlike some officials who were simply pushed over the edge by Trump’s election, John Brennan was acting in a partisan manner and lying to the American people long before Trump was sworn into office. John Brennan was there on the front lines of both the Nuclear One and Benghazi scandal, and in both cases he helped cover up the crimes of Obama and Clinton. Now that neither Clinton nor Obama are in a position of power to protect him and cover up his own lies, Brennan is starting to feel very nervous and is lashing out in response.
