Why Conservative Comedy is Flourishing Right Now
You might have noticed the left has lost its mind over the last four or five years. Sure, they were always grossly detached from reality, but to be fair — there are some fundamental leftist ideas that are not entirely bullhonkery — chief among them being that sometimes, limited immigration with vetting and probationary periods is a good idea and that it would be nice if we would offer something to the homeless.
But today, they have completely abandoned any moderation in these lines of arguments and have turned to madly insisting that absolutely all immigration should go unchecked and that the middle class should be forced to pay for endless handouts whether they want to or not. These extremist leftist views are becoming the standard on college campuses and on the mainstream wingnut media.
You may have also noticed that all of the late night comedy shows are kind of crap. Even if you used to enjoy programs like the Colbert Report and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, you’ve probably noticed that they too have gone to crap. It’s nothing but the cheapest Trump jokes imaginable on every major late-night comedy show, and cable subscriptions are dropping as a result.
You might be thinking that comedy is dead. But conservative comedy is alive and well. Of course, there are the heavy hitters like Crowder, but there are others too.
