Why are Liberals So Offended by a Military Parade?
President Trump wants a military parade in our nation’s capital, and Democrats are not happy about it.
According to the White House, the Pentagon will explore potential dates for a parade. Apparently, after seeing France’s Bastille Day parade as a guest of the French president, The Donald liked how the patriotic focus was on the veterans and soldiers of France.
According to CNBC, the plan is “a brilliant political move.” The brilliance of the plan is further highlighted by the snarky New York Times headline ,”“Tanks, jets and other killing machines painted olive-drab and tan could be rolling the routes of the nation’s capital later this year for a peacetime parade inspired by President Trump.”
Then there was the Democrat Representative Jackie Speier from California, who called the President “a Napoleon in the making” during an interview on CNN. So which is he, Jackie: an unqualified doofus or a brilliant military leader? The Democrats can’t make up their mind, because when it comes to Donald Trump, they have lost it.
The Democrats show no signs of figuring out why they are continually outfoxed by a master manipulator. In fact, with one throw-away line during his State of the Union address, he drove a stake into the zombie hearts of the moribund Democrats scowling rigidly in their seats. He said, “Americans are dreamers, too.” His latest gambit is “Americans love their military folks.”
