White House Leaks are Becoming Extremely Dangerous

The Trump White House has been plagued with more leaks than any other Presidency in modern history. With the number of anti-Trump staffers working in the White House who are all too willing to neglect their duties and leak sensitive information to the press, the mainstream media has been given an all-access pass to matters that were never meant to be public.

Most recently, the New York Times reported on the fact that President Trump apparently discussed pulling out of NATO. The conversation was never meant to be made public, yet thanks to leaks, it’s now available for all the world to read about.

Publishing leaked information such as this doesn’t bother the media in the slightest. They have no respect for President Trump, and their duty to their country is far less important to them than increasing their profits. However, the combination of staffers willing to leak any information they can get their hands on and media outlets willing to broadcast that information to the entire world presents a real danger to the country.

Trump’s conversations about pulling out of NATO were private remarks made to his cabinet. Obviously, the President decided against the decision. Yet, thanks to leakers and the New York Times, our allies are now concerned and Russia has been emboldened — all over a private discussion that the President never acted on. This is just one example of how dangerous these leaks can be.
