Tucker: Why Won’t Democrats Oppose Far-Left Violence?
Despite claiming to be the party of peace and tolerance, the violence among the far left has continued to increase. Conservatives are attacked both verbally and physically in public, Republican politicians face constant death threats and even assassination attempts, individuals claim that they are going to kill Trump supporters, and one professor even brought a gun to school and shot himself in the arm to protest the President.
Yet, in the face of all this violence, Democratic party leaders have done nothing to oppose it. In fact, some of them such as Maxine Waters – who recently said that she threatens people she disagrees with – are fanning the flames. This is the same Maxine Waters that urged liberals to harass members of the Trump administration anytime they see them out in public.
It wouldn’t be difficult for Democratic leaders such as Nancy Pelosi to come out and take a courageous stance against political violence, no matter who it is against or what it’s purpose is. However, that is something that they have so far seemed unwilling to do. Perhaps Democratic leaders don’t want to admit that their supporters are just as guilty (if not much more so) of the violence and hatred that they associate only with conservatives.
