Trump Rips Joe Biden Over Ukraine Mishap

While those in the mainstream media focus on whether or not Trump was right to discuss Joe Biden’s actions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the real heart of the story is going ignored. Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president aside, the fact still remains that Biden’s actions in the country were corrupt and disgraceful.

While serving as vice president, Joe Biden was tasked with helping rid Ukraine of corruption. Around the same time, Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, took a position on the board of the country’s largest private gas company – a position where he was reportedly paid upwards of $50,000 a month.

When a Ukranian prosecutor started looking into the company, though – and therefore threatening Hunter Biden’s job – Joe Biden demanded his termination, threatening to withhold $1 billion in US aid unless the prosecutor was fired. Shortly thereafter, the prosecutor was fired, Biden agreed to provide Ukraine with the US aid that they had been promised, and Hunter Biden was allowed to keep his job.

The case that Biden used his power as vice president to promote his son’s financial interests is a strong one, yet the media has only focused their outrage on Trump’s attempts to uncover the truth. Nevertheless, Biden’s actions in Ukraine are unacceptable.
