Trump Flashback: Schooling Fake News in the 90s
You may have noticed that President Trump knows his way around the camera. It may have caught your attention that he can lead the press by the nose, cajoling them into making any number of unforced errors. And it probably hasn’t escaped your notice that while he may say deliciously insightful and comedically perfect things with the timing of a seasoned fencer, the manner in which he gets things done is superbly professional.
Trump is like a veteran matador — gaging, cajoling, and humiliating the lamestream media at every turn. But, this does not mean that he does not attend to business in the way that he should. Trump’s quips and quirks are executed with brutal accuracy. But the things he says to the media to get them riled up have very little to do with how he runs his businesses or the presidency.
The one thing he does make clear at every available opportunity is that he cannot be bought, he cannot be bribed, he cannot be bullied, and he absolutely will not be told how to speak. Naturally, authoritarian progressives and journalists can’t stand that sort of thing. They want to wear the big boy pants. But every time they cross swords with the golden man, they end up running back to mommy.
Well, we thought you’d appreciate a tip-toe through the tulips of Trump’s greatest punchlines and comebacks from his pre-presidential days.
Here’s Mark Dice with the video.
