Trump Campaign Brilliantly Trolls Critics…AGAIN
President Donald Trump’s campaign strategy is a unique one. Where politicians of the past desperately tried to circle around criticism or ridicule, Trump’s approach is the opposite — collide into it head-first.
We’ve seen this happen several times already. Not long ago, the campaign bought up a URL from the Biden campaign, and proceeded to use that website property to spread anti-Biden messages. Apparently, it didn’t occur to the Biden camp to snatch up the URL as quickly as they could — because this is a classic Trump move.
Now, it’s happening again, this time with Tom Steyer. When he bought the domain for “Keep America Great” and plastered it with a banner that read “Trump is a failure,” it probably didn’t occur to him that he would soon receive the same treatment. But that’s exactly what happened.
Even if you remove the effectiveness of the President’s policies, there’s no denying the fact that he has a gift for at least one thing: being a master troll.
Here’s Tim Pool with the details.
