The progressive left has a death-grip on academia, giving them the power to shut down opposing viewpoints and shape young minds all over the country in any way that they see fit. Given how powerful of a tool control over academia is, it should come as no surprise that the left is now targeting the one conservative stronghold within academia that they have yet to conquer – private Christian schools.
In addition to passing regulations designed almost entirely to force Christian schools to choose between betraying their beliefs or closing their doors, the left is now targeting these schools via the media – the other powerful weapon that they happen to control. It almost felt like a coordinated effort within the media, as one publication after another began publishing attacks on Christian schools in the wake of the viral incident involving the Covington Catholic students.
Never mind the fact that new evidence proved that those students were innocent, and never mind the fact that their Christian school had nothing to do with the incident in the first place; the media saw their chance to attack Christian schools, and they took it.
Keep in mind that all private schools are just like any other business in the fact that bad publicity can bankrupt them. These attacks against Christian schools are not harmless, and they have the potential to erode away the final beacon of hope that conservatism has within academia.
