This is How You Know Iran is Close to Breaking
Times were easy for Iran under the Obama administration. Thanks to the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal, the Iranian regime was handed everything they could possibly want on a silver platter, with almost nothing required of them in return. Sanctions against Iran were lifted, and the country was allowed to continue its ballistic missile program, continue sponsoring terrorism in the Middle East, and even continue with elements of its nuclear program.
Since Trump has taken office, though, things have become much more difficult for the ayatollahs. Under Trump’s “maximum pressure” campaign against the regime, the Iran Nuclear Deal was abolished and a variety of crippling new sanctions were imposed against the country. In the short time since Trump has been in the White House, these new sanctions have been devastating to the Iranian economy. Now, Iran is close to its breaking point.
Very soon, Iran will have to choose between either caving to Trump’s demands – demands that include things such as complete abandonment of the country’s nuclear ambitions – or going to war with the United States. With their economy floundering and the Iranian people starting to turn against the regime, Iran is quickly running out of time to make this decision.
