Arguing that killing an unborn child is an acceptable action is a difficult position to defend. Ultimately, any arguments in favor of abortion are based only on convenience rather than scientific facts and moral realities. Nevertheless, many on the left continue to bend over backward in an attempt to produce pro-abortion arguments that are based in logic and reason. Unfortunately for those who are in favor of legal abortion, these arguments aren’t very logical or reasonable at all.
It’s a scientific fact that an unborn child is a unique, individual human life that is separate from the life of the mother. It’s a moral reality that ending an innocent human life is an atrocity of the highest order. In light of these two facts, no real argument in favor of allowing abortion to continue in the United States can be made.
