The Truth About Trump and Immigration from ‘Sh-thole Countries’
As Senator Durbin read a list of countries that are temporary protected status countries, President Donald Trump allegedly responded within the privately held meeting among a dozen or so politicians by questioning why America should be welcoming immigrants from “sh-thole” countries.
His language has been described as rough by President Trump himself, as vulgar and racist by others. Several Republican senators in the room didn’t recall President Trump using such harsh language.
The White House didn’t deny the statements, but by the next morning, President Trump turned to Twitter to set Americans straight.
In the video on Fox News, President Trump wants to change immigration to improve the lives of Americans who are already here. Any further loss of jobs for Americans or loss of wages because of immigration is no longer acceptable.
President Trump is fighting for Americans, not for those who live in foreign countries and are trying to seek solace here.
The United States has plenty of people already needing help, and the resources the United States has must go to Americans first. While some in the room were taken aback by Trump’s language, most expect the blunt truth coming from the President himself.
