The Top 5 LIES The Media Told You About Mass Shootings

It’s a well-known fact that the mainstream media is a huge proponent of stricter gun control laws. Every time there is a mass shooting in the United States, the media is quick to pounce on the opportunity to use the tragedy to promote their political agenda.

Leveraging tragedy, however, apparently isn’t enough. In addition to turning shooting victims into political pawns, those in the media are also willing to outright lie in order to promote their push for increased gun control.

From blaming President Donald Trump for the mass shootings when there is no reason to blame the President at all, to lying about how the shooters purchased their firearms and more, there is no shortage of lies that the media has spread.

To most in the mainstream media, lying comes quite naturally. Lying about the circumstances of a tragedy such as a mass shooting simply for political purposes, though, is a new level of low.
