The Soviet Tactics of American Media

In the days of the Soviet Union, Russian leaders thought that if they could control the media, they could control the people. The only issue was that the Russian people knew that they were being lied to by their media, and subsequently ignored most of what it said.

Unfortunately, this is not the case in modern-day America. Today, the left has usurped almost complete control of the mainstream media, using it to promote their agenda and severely twist the news to fit their narrative. Unlike Soviet Russians, though, most Americans do not realize that they are being lied to almost every time they turn on the TV or pick a major newspaper.

In US politics, the media has long played an incredibly important role. Without an informed population, democracies cannot flourish. However, in recent times, the mainstream media has lost sight of its obligations and has sold out to the political left, intentionally misinforming the American public at every turn in order to promote a leftist agenda. Arguably, the only thing worse than an uninformed public is a misinformed public, and this is exactly what the American media is creating.
