The answer to the world’s problems is not political, because the nature of our problems is not political. The nature of our problem is spiritual. That is why those who oppose reason, those who oppose the rights and freedoms of others are so twisted. That’s why the opponents of grace and truth are willing to commit infanticide, to write theft into our nation’s law, and to believe whatever the leading liberal TV newsman tells them.
But sometimes, the truth comes to the surface in a way that is so dramatic — so earth shattering and clear — that even two solid years of non-stop lies from Don Lemon and Rachel Maddow can’t cover it up. That’s the situation our fellow citizens — whether or not they would call us the same — the Democrats have gotten themselves into.
Now, what we’re dealing with are hoards of people who are willing to vote based on things they do not understand on their faith of authority. They know that the lie they have been telling themselves has been exploded in front of the whole world.
To their credit, many are turning away from the Democratic Party. But many more, whose psychosis is much deeper, are teetering on the cusp of a full-blown mental breakdown.
To put it simply, they are grieving the loss of their ability to go on pretending that they believe their own lies.
