Supreme Court Prepares to Hear MAJOR Abortion Case

Over the past few months, pro-life activists have made major inroads in a number of states when it comes to protecting the lives of unborn children. Now, for the first time in years, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a major case on abortion, paving the way for potentially yet another pro-life victory.

The case that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear involves a Louisiana law that requires any doctor performing an abortion in the state to have admitting priveledges to a nearby hospital – therefore greatly reducing the number of doctors who are able to perform abortions in the state.

Interestingly enough, the Lousiana law is almost identical to a Texas law that was struck down by the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling three years ago. Now that the Court is comprised of a stronger conservative majority than it was three years ago, though, pro-life supporters are hopeful that the results will be different this time around.
