Steve Miller Humiliates Jake Tapper Live on CNN
President Trump’s senior advisor Stephen Miller is a policy wonk. He knows his job through and through. He has a deep understanding of the law and an equally firm grasp on American history. He is exactly the type of person left-wing news anchors do not want to invite onto their shows for a chat.
CNN has a particularly conspicuous habit of ambushing conservative guests with loaded questions, getting them hot under the collar and then cutting them off before they have a chance to defend themselves.
That’s not so easy to do when the guest has such a robust understanding of the facts at hand. Stephen Miller made Jake Tapper look very silly last week when he handed his own medicine back to him on national television.
When Tapper went low, trying to turn some point on Trump’s behavior into some kind of politically correct shaming session, Miller brought him back to the facts that matter and then wiped the floor with him. He told Tapper that CNN does not cover the problems of real Americans who have lost their jobs under policies that sent production centers overseas because CNN does not care about them.
This isn’t the first time a CNN rep has had their backside handed to them by Miller. Jim Acosta was humiliated during a press conference in which Trump’s top advisor forced Acosta to admit that he didn’t understand the history of the immigration policy that they were talking about.
