Politics is downstream from culture. Andrew Breitbart said that before he died of an unexpected heart attack while walking alone one evening in a neighborhood he had no business in.
The Left has been flooding the culture with subversive, anti-Christian, anti-American television, movies, and music since the 1950s. Its effects have been working on the culture so well and so long, that we have forgotten it is not normal for teenagers to resent their parents. It is not normal for families to break up and for children to be displaced in no-fault divorces. We’ve forgotten that it’s not normal for people to not know who their neighbors are, or to hear gunshots in the night.
For decades, the subversion was at least subtle. You didn’t see cartoons about children being molested in school bathroom stalls by demons as you do on Netflix (Big Mouth). You didn’t hear pop music that directly advocates for unprovoked violence.
Today, we are being inundated with amoral garbage designed to normalize hatred of the family, political violence, and the demonization of people with different views. It’s got to the point where the Left is actually pro-war, and people are called isolationist right-wingers for being against regime change wars in the Middle East.
Sadly, our memory is too short for these things to stand out in our minds the way they should. We are ill-informed, under-motivated, demoralized, and complacent. Our reward is being buried up to our nipples in garbage.
Here’s Paul Joseph Watson with more on the sad state of the culture.
