As liberals accuse conservatives of becoming more radical simply because the “alt-right” strain is gaining a bit of mainstream traction (pushed forward mostly through liberal media outlets, ironically), top Democrats are attending speeches by one of the most controversial leftists of our time.
Ben Shapiro brings attention to the fact that many ranking Democrats recently attended a speech by Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, a man who has spoken about more violence against persecuted groups than perhaps any major public speaker in the past century.
If his hate speech against Jews isn’t enough, you can look to the accusations that he may have actually had something to do with the death of Malcolm X, his fellow Nation of Islam brother. Louis Farrakhan himself has referred to Malcolm X as a mentor of sorts. To be fair, Farrakhan has also denied all accusations.
Do Democrats have a leg to stand on when they accuse Republicans of being radical? Ben Shapiro wisely points out the hypocrisy of this belief, and as conservatives, we should definitely look to examples of liberal hypocrisy to keep them from moving in on the real issues we deal with every day in this nation. If Hillary Clinton wasn’t enough of a thug, now we have this staring us in the face. How much more obvious can we get, Dems? Next time, you might want to check into the speaker’s hall under a pseudonym or something.
