President Donald Trump’s tenure in office is historic for many reasons.
First and most obviously, President Trump won his election after funding his own campaign and having never participated in politics before that. More importantly, however, the president actually follows through on his promises. He swore to destroy ISIS, slash regulations, and reform the tax code in a way that puts the middle class first. You can check off all of those things — which were all done during the first two years of the administration.
But there’s one thing about President Trump that isn’t new — something you might not expect. While the mainstream media likes to talk about the president’s push for the construction of a border wall between the United States and Mexico as the first of its kind, this isn’t accurate. And no — we’re not talking about the border fencing green-lit during the last Bush Administration.
That’s right — the last wall builder to hold office was none other than progressive hero Barack Obama. Remember — this president still holds the record for deportations. Apparently, this wasn’t a racist thing to do just a few short years ago.
