The United States is demonstrably the finest nation ever to have existed. It is the only nation on Earth that has institutionalized a respect for the individual above the law itself. It is the only nation that respects the society-saving right to freedom of speech, and it is one of the best places in the world to do business.
As an aside, while there may be better places to engage in economic activity in the world, but there is no place as reliably or stably well suited for long term commerce than the U.S.
Of course, the western world as a whole, is also great for many of the same or related reasons that the U.S. is great. But all of this greatness has given us resources, time, and freedom. We can reduce these three goods down to the single category of value. Now that we have done that, we can easily understand why western values are under attack. It is a war to obtain the value that we enjoy as members of the finest civilization on Earth.
It is as simple as that. It is war. It is a war to take what is ours — to hand that value over to people who are less competent — people who have lower expectations for quality of life, people from whom resources can even more easily be taken. That’s why they have to use words like racism to set us at odds with our neighbors. It makes us weak.
