President Trump’s Critics Weren’t Happy with His Fourth of July Celebration

Progressives are pretty easy to piss off. If upsetting a liberal is something of a hobby of yours, all you really have to do is use the wrong pronouns, point out communism’s epic failure, or just suggest that maybe you should pay for your own contraceptives. The full list would take days to write out, so we’ll just move on…

Believe it or not, we’ve uncovered a way to make liberals angry that outranks anything else we’ve mentioned. Yes — more effective than pointing out that the world isn’t going to end in 12 years because some 20-something-year-old bartender says so. And yes — more hard hitting than pointing out that even the biased Robert Mueller couldn’t find a shred of evidence that President Donald Trump was a Kremlin operative.

All you have to do is tell them that you love the United States of America, and everything that it stands for.

That’s seriously it. Patriotism is like kryptonite to them. And while there are valid complaints about fireworks scaring dogs or something like that, there is nothing more irritating to a progressive than a full day dedicated to everything American: grilling burgers, singing the national anthem, reading the Declaration of Independence, drinking domestic beer — all of that. It’s brilliant.

President Trump, being the over-the-top man he is, wanted to bring a similar attitude to Independence Day in 2019. His critics were, predictably, furious.
