You can’t turn on the news, hop on social media or open a newspaper without being assaulted by screaming headlines: Republic politician accused of unwanted sexual advances.
Surely, not all conservative males are the evil pigs that the liberal media makes them out to be… or are they?
Even as a small part of your mind wonders if this could be true, you suddenly discover that you’re buying into the narrative. Who’s the real loser in this race to the bottom? The women who are being used as pawns to demonize the conservative politicians.
Paul Joseph Watson nails it — talking about the social justice warriors who are constantly on the lookout for wrongs to be addressed. Feminism as a whole has a place in society, and while there is still work to be done, there have been significant advances in equality over the past 50 years. The new outrage for the far-left? A puritan-like attack on men that negates the concept of innocent until proven guilty upon which America was built.
It would be easy to say that this narrative is being advanced by men for political gain, but the sad truth is that women are demeaning other women with their antics. By pushing females into the limelight as pawns in a larger game of political chess, these third-wave feminists are reinforcing the idea that powerful (conservative!) men are guilty as soon as an announcement is made of wrongdoing.
With these accounts happening decades in the past, it’s difficult if not impossible to determine whether there was any merit to the various challenges. Of course they should be investigated — and prosecuted — to the fullest extent of the law. However, the liberal media has decided to skip the required Constitutional steps and skip directly to the sentencing.
