Paul Joseph Watson Calls Out NFL Players for Disrespecting the Flag

“Taking a knee” is all the rage right now in the NFL. What was once an atmosphere free of politics and outside concerns where Americans of all backgrounds and beliefs could come together for an escape has now become yet another tool at the left’s disposal, and conservative reporter Paul Joseph Watson isn’t having it.

In his video calling out players who are choosing to take a knee, Mr. Watson questions exactly what it is they are taking a knee for. The popular narrative is that they are standing up against police brutality towards people of color, yet the majority of the players currently kneeling for the national anthem only began to do so after they were called out by President Trump.

This in combination with the fact that the idea that police are statistically more brutal against people of color has been debunked and proven incorrect multiple times – a fact that Paul Joseph Watson points out in his video – leaves one to wonder just what it is that these wealthy, privileged players are “taking a knee” for.

Whatever their motivation, their actions certainly aren’t doing any good for them or their employers. In the wake of the take a knee controversy, overall ratings for NFL games have hit new lows. Meanwhile, some provider services are allowing customers to request a refund for their NFL packages if they are canceling them due to the controversy.

Hitting the NFL where it hurts the most – their pocketbook – is a great start for curtailing this ridiculous movement. Meanwhile, for those who are disgusted by these NFL players disrespecting the flag of the very nation that has given them the status they now enjoy, hearing Paul Joseph Watson call them out on one hypocrisy after another may be the perfect remedy.
