Ocasio-Cortez Claims There is no More Upper Middle Class

Since being thrust into the national spotlight, the left’s favorite new socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made some pretty wild claims.

She blamed Israel for the violence between the Jewish State and Hamas before admitting a couple minutes later she didn’t know what she was talking about, she claimed that the Democrats were going to flip Kansas “red” in the midterm elections, and she said that capitalism has not always existed. Of course, none of this is surprising given Ocasio-Cortez’s extensive political background as a waitress and a low-level campaign organizer.

Now, in the latest example of Ocasio-Cortez completely being a fish out of water, the socialist has claimed that there is no more upper middle class in America. She explains that this is the reason why moderate Democrats who supposedly rely on upper middle class votes are struggling against far-left Democrats such as herself.

Where Ocasio-Cortez got this notion, though, is anyone’s guess. Over the past few decades, the middle class in America has steadily grown and so has their income. If anything, there are more upper middle class families in the United States now than there have ever been in the past. That’s a far stretch from Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that the upper middle class has disappeared.

When Republicans ran a highly accomplished businessman for president, they were accosted by the left for running someone with no experience. Now, just a couple years later, the rising star of the Democratic Party is a former waitress who makes claims that anyone with an internet connection can disprove. It would seem as if the tables have turned.
