How Obama is Actually Helping President Trump
Former President Barrack Obama has taken to the campaign trail once again in an attempt to rally Democratic voters ahead of the midterm elections. He’s pulling out all the leftist talking points against Trump, trying to stoke fears about what will happen if the GOP retains control of Congress, and overall serving as the liberal mouthpiece that Democrats so desperately need.
There’s just one problem, though: Barrack Obama is deeply disliked. It was the failed Presidency of Barrack Obama and all of the economic, national security, and cultural woes that it brought along with it that gave rise to President Trump in the first place. Now, the man who paved the way for the red wave of 2016 is trying to pave the way for a blue wave in 2018. That’s not a recipe for Democratic success.
The reality is that every time Obama opens his mouth, people vote for Trump and the GOP. It happened it 2016, it’s happening again in 2018, and it’ll probably happen in 2020 as well if Democrats don’t learn their lesson and take away Obama’s microphone. Like Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama has become such a polarizing, disliked figure that he is now pure toxin to the Democratic Party – they just haven’t come around to realizing it yet.
