If you’re a conservative and do not live in the core of a right-wing echo chamber, then you know the left wants to destroy you. They want to take your ability to speak. They want to get you fired from your job. They want you hounded in the street as a rape apologist, bigot, homophobe, corporate shill, as a gun-obsessed, racist monster.
They do not want to understand your arguments. They are not interested in history. They are operating on a philosophy that tells them there is no such thing as objective truth or reality- no definitive difference between right and wrong. They believe property is theft — though you’ll notice none of them will let go of their shiny smartphones long enough to go to the bathroom.
Too many conservatives have made the mistake of offending the false sensibilities of hard-line left-wingers and then apologized. You must not apologize. If you do, they will strip you of your dignity. They will use your admission of guilt as a reason to drag your reputation and livelihood through the muddy streets of public opinion, to ruin you and your family if they can.
But why? Why are they this way? Because they believe it is all about power. They believe all you want is the power to oppress because that is what they are like. They believe everyone is the same and deep down they know they are empty and dark inside.
