Media Attacks Trump for Visiting With Troops on Thanksgiving

While it’s been proven time and time again that there is no limit to how low those in the mainstream media are willing to stoop in their attempt to smear President Trump, each new attack is still somehow even more disturbing than the last.

The most recent example of the media’s unwavering willingness to throw decency and decorum out the window came when Trump chose to spend his Thanksgiving visiting with US troops. Following this, it didn’t take long at all for those in the media to begin attacking Trump and calling his time spent with the troops nothing more than a political stunt and an attempt for a photo op.

To start, the fact that politicians use events for political purposes is certainly nothing new, and every President in modern history has taken advantage of every photo-op and positive story that they can. For the media to accuse Trump of doing the same thing that every politician in the country does and then rake him over the coals for it is unbelievably hypocritical and dishonest.

Even more important, though, is the fact that Trump’s outreach to US troops on Thanksgiving is almost certainly as genuine as it gets given Trump’s history of supporting our troops and going out of his way to show them how much he cares about them as their Commander in Chief.
