Lindsey Graham Talks About Trade and Trump’s Foreign Policy
The two areas of Trump’s policies that catch more criticism than any others are his policies on trade and his policies on foreign affairs. However, are these criticisms justified, or are they just another symptom of the media’s Trump derangement syndrome?
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sat down for an interview with Fox News to talk about Trump’s approach to trade and foreign policy. As Graham described, Trump’s harsh words and risky policies when it comes to trade and foreign affairs may be tough to swallow, but they are a solution that this country has been desperately needing.
Under the weak guidance of President Obama, the United States has lagged behind on the world stage for the past eight years when it comes to trade equality and when it comes to standing up for our interests. President Trump inherited these problems when he took office, and he took it upon himself to fix them.
Of course, trying to fix such huge issues is bound to upset the apple cart and create some fallout in the short-term. In the long-term, though, fighting for fair trade and promoting American interest above all else on the world stage is something that will help our country immensely.
