‘Law and Order: SVU’ Uses Ann Coulter-Like Character
Ann Coulter doesn’t need trigger warnings or a safe space when it comes to having a Coulter-like character on Law & Order: SVU. Despite the portrayal and making the character a victim of a brutal attack, Coulter found it inconsequential. She noted that it apparently was intended to depict her, having taken quotes directly from her or from people who misquoted her.
“I couldn’t care less,” Coulter said, obviously unruffled by this portrayal.
Having not watched the show Law & Order: SVU, she hadn’t even known the episode existed until her fans contacted her.
“Well, I heard about it when I got in last night,” Coulter explained. “My fans were mostly upset that they thought the actress didn’t do me justice. God bless my fans.”
After seeing some clips of the show, Coulter was quick to point out how different conservatives were from liberals, both in the portrayal of her in the show, and in her overall reaction to it.
“In fact, Laura, I did not break a single window on hearing about this show,” she said, referring to the violence at Berkley when she went to speak there.
And what did Coulter think of the acting?
“It’s funny that liberals always think we’re as precious as they are,” she said. “That woman who was talking, that was supposed to be me. No. That’s how liberals talk.”
