Klavan and Knowles: The Left Doesn’t Believe in Reality

Intellectually honest individuals aspire to change their worldview and their narrative to fit the reality of the world around them. Those that are not intellectually honest, though, do the exact opposite – attempt to change the reality of the world around them in order to fit their pre-defined narrative and worldview. More and more, those on the left are sinking ever further into the latter category.

From transgenderism to abortion to socialism, those who support leftist policies and ideals remain blind to the overwhelming amount of scientific and historical evidence that counters those policies and ideals. Realities about the inseparable nature of sex and gender, the undeniable fact that an unborn baby is a living human being, the frightening evidence of the dangers of socialism, and much more go entirely unnoticed by a group that is no longer interested in reality. Absorbed in the falsehoods of a narrative that never bothered to take reality into account, those on the left have come to a point where they barely believe in reality at all.

Whether you believe in it or not, though, reality eventually catches up with us all. If those who no longer believe in reality are given power, they and the entire nation are in for a very unpleasant awakening.
