Western feminists claim to speak on behalf of women everywhere. But, when it comes to the women who are forced into lifetimes of submission and pain with the constant threat of “honor” killings under radical Islam, western feminists are silent.
It is a shameful and wordless alliance with a religious-political movement that believes men are too weak to see the face of a woman without turning into animals, and that women are the bearers of all sin.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali-born woman who was raised as a Muslim. She suffered genital mutilation as a child and was forced to endure innumerable humiliations at the hands of the proponents of mainstream Islam. Since then, she has escaped to the west where her work as an advocate for women’s rights and her writings on the religion on peace have been without peer. But, The Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled her speech as hate speech.
This is just one example of the slapdash manner with which the SPLC treats anyone who dares to disagree with their political ideology. They run an endless campaign to silence people who hold conservative views- and they fund it with a seemingly bottomless budget.
