Right now, House Democrats are preparing to move forward with impeachment proceedings over a single phone call that President Donald Trump had with the President of Ukraine.
Democrats charge that President Trump attempted to coerce the Ukrainian President into investigating Joe Biden’s shady dealings with Ukraine, in spite of the fact that the official transcript of the phone call between the two leaders shows no such thing. With all the media uproar about Trump’s supposed wrongdoings, though, an important detail is being swept under the rug – Joe Biden deserves to be investigated.
During Biden’s time as vice president, he was charged with helping combat political corruption in Ukraine. Instead of performing that role, though, overwhelming evidence has surfaced that suggests Biden used his power as vice president to coerce the Ukrainian government into firing the prosecutor who was investigating the company where Joe Biden’s son was working. In spite of this evidence, though, it is President Trump that both the media and the Democratic Party have chosen to put on trial.
