Is There Simply No Hope Left for Liberal California?
2018 started off with a bang – for liberals, at least.
California is now officially the state to go and legally smoke all of the recreational marijuana that you want. Wait for it – that’s not all! You can smoke that recreational pot with as many illegal immigrants as you like. As Fox News reports, the irony of the situation is almost funny if it wasn’t so sad — and expensive.
You can bet that California, which is already dragging down the federal budget with its wasteful spending in schools, will now become even more of a burden on the entire United States. The hardworking people of the Midwest, the Bible Belt and everywhere else that having a job is still considered cool now have to support legal illegals and legal laziness.
Fox News did its best in this short segment to overlay the two issues so that people could see the bigger picture. Sanctuaries for liberalism are now becoming sanctuaries for the economic and political destruction of this country, and they need to be brought in check.
If California chooses to maintain its current path, it should become one of the poorest states in the United States by the next budget session. Conservatives in the Congress and executive branch should simply vote to direct the country’s resources in more efficient ways. We don’t even have to make it personal. Just look at California as a bad business investment and justify it that way.
