Is China Stonewalling Trump on North Korea?

After President Trump returned home from his lengthy Asian tour, all eyes are on China and the hostile Hermit Kingdom it still effectively supports.

Throughout the past several years, all we’ve heard about why the United States and its allies cannot take action against the rogue regime which has issued credible nuclear threats against its neighbors is Chinese opposition.

According to mainstream thought, North Korea cannot be contained without Chinese assistance. Seeing as how wiping out Pyongyang and reunifying Korea under Seoul authority would essentially put a Western proxy at the communist country’s border, this is far more complicated.

Speaking to Fox News, Lt. Col. Ralph Peters offered his analysis on the situation.

“The key is still china,” Peters said. “Now, China has been taking some more positive moves in observing UN sanctions and so forth, but it’s still not doing enough…we need China to really help us, and stop playing both sides of the fence.”
