Ingraham Blasts Durbin for ‘Tired Trope’ About Jobs Americans Won’t Do

According to Senator Dick Durbin( D/Ill.), illegal immigrants are a necessary part of our workforce because they will perform jobs that American citizens and legal immigrants are unwilling or just too lazy to do.

As the immigration debate chugs along on Capitol Hill, Laura Ingraham cites the usual ‘open border’ suspects (like Durbin) who have dragged out their ‘only illegals’ mantra to denigrate an entire segment of American workers who are unable to find jobs at a fair wage.

Cheap illegal immigrant labor benefits the business sector only; Durbin’s observations were incorrect and offensive on multiple levels. (The Senator invites you to go to a meat processing plant to watch Hispanics leave at the end of a workday.) In her ‘Angle’ broadcast on Tuesday, Ingraham identified Democrats real goal: return to power.

“Democrats don’t care all that much about illegal workers,” she observed. “They know middle class America is fed up with them…they care about remaking their electorate.”

Clips of Dianne Feinstein (1993) declaring that America can no longer be Mexico’s ‘welfare system’, and Bernie Sanders (2007) urging the Senate to ‘stand up for American workers before immigration’ demonstrate how far Dems have ‘migrated’ into championing the illegal immigrant at the expense of American workers. Ingraham noted the lack of passionate Democrat speech about Americans who have lost their jobs, and their lives, to the actions illegal immigrants.

“…American people…should always be Congress’ priority one.”
