President Donald Trump has been facing off with Democrats all over the country over the last few months. He’s been drawing attention to the fact that Democrat strongholds are breedings grounds for poverty, homelessness, and crime.
Naturally, the reflex response from the Left has been to accuse Trump of blaming the minorities for these conditions. But, of course, that is not the case at all. He blames Democrats for the high levels of wealth disparity that they cause — not the victims of that disparity.
Historians and economists have been telling us for decades that the propensity of Democrats to create the conditions for poverty, homelessness, and crime is not an accident. The first time liberal policies and practices trigger substandard conditions you could explain it as a lack of foresight. But when it happens again and again in city after city — you cannot escape the conclusion that Dems create destitute communities intentionally.
One could go on all night about their possible motives. It could be that they are simply greedy. But there are many ways to make money in politics without smashing the working class, driving property values up, while refusing to enforce the law as the dispossessed and petty criminals pour into the streets. Republicans have been doing it for years.
No, we find it very hard not to believe that on some level, Democrats love human misery.
Here’s Greg Gutfeld and crew on Trump’s recent visit to California, and the liberal tears that ensued.
